Flamenco del Sol
Spanish dance ensemble presents a one-hour Spanish dance program,
"Viva Espana: A Journey Through Spain"
This free, one-hour, interactive program is geared toward kids and kids at
heart. The dancers, featuring Herlinda Lopez and Deanne Poulos,
perform dances from various regions of Spain, as well as explain elements of
the dances, costumes, music and culture. Young people in the audience
are encouraged to learn some dance steps and to play castanets.
